Kathy S. Heustess holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Francis Marion University and is a certified public accountant in the state of South Carolina. She is also a graduate of the School of Banking at Louisiana State University. Mrs. Heustess' career in the Farm Credit System began in 1989. Since then, she has performed a range of functions including management of accounting, reporting, operations, credit, marketing, information management, and human resources. She held the positions of Controller, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer prior to being named President and Chief Executive Officer in January 2012. Additionally, Mrs. Heustess serves on a local university foundation board, the Farm Credit Council Services board, and compensation committee.
Richard Pitts began his career with Farm Credit in 2002. He earned both his Bachelor and Master of Science Degree in Agricultural & Applied Economics from Clemson University. While in college, Mr. Pitts was awarded both a State and National Honorary FFA Degree for his work with the FFA programs. He is also a graduate of the Graduate School of Banking at Louisiana State University, South Eastern Agricultural Lenders School and Leadership Development Program through Farm Credit Services of America.
Tammy Smith has been with ArborOne since 1991. She came to Farm Credit with a wide range of experience in both government and private business accounting and auditing. Mrs. Smith earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration with an accounting concentration from Francis Marion University and a Masters of Science in Accountancy from the University of Phoenix. She is a graduate of the South Carolina School of Banking.
Sarah H. Jackson, Director of Human Resources, holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Francis Marion University and a Master of Science in Finance from Indiana University and is also a graduate of the South Eastern Agricultural Lenders School (SEALS). Prior to college, Sarah served in the United States Army, including a deployment to Bosnia. Mrs. Jackson’s career in the Farm Credit System began in 2006 during which she has acquired a wide range of experience throughout the Association having held the positions of Financial Analyst, Commercial Credit Analyst, and Human Resources Manager before being named Director of Human Resources in January 2016.
