The tour was a success again this year with 4 buses filled with participants from around the state. The tour included McLeod Farms in McBee, S.C., Woodard Farms in Darlington County and Carolina Plantation Rice at Plumfield Plantation on the Great Pee Dee River. ArborOne is pleased to be a sponsor for this informative and educational tour. ArborOne was one of the sponsors for the 15th Annual Pee Dee Deer Classic held at the Florence Civic Center on August 1, 2 and 3. This year the hunting enthusiasts enjoyed the 65,000 sq. ft. space filled with deer hunting products, camo, tree stands, archery, guns, truck accessories, outfitters, knives, ATV’s, taxidermy and much more. Upcoming events:August 22 - 23 - SC High School Rodeo - Antioch Community Center, Byrdtown area of Hartsville, SC ArborOne will again be one of the sponsors for the Annual South Carolina High School Rodeo 8/22 & 23 beginning at 8 p.m. each evening. This is a statewide event to be held in the Byrdtown area of Hartsville at the Antioch Community Center. September 19, 20, 21 - South Carolina Tobacco Festival - Lake City, SC ArborOne will be a proud sponsor of the South Carolina Tobacco Festival celebrating our farming heritage. The 3 day event in Lake City will begin on Friday night with a street dance and band of OZ. The event will include food, arts and crafts, and commercial vendors. There will also be children’s rides, antique car show, golf tournament and much more. September 25 -Taste of Coker- Coker College Soccer Field,- Hartsville, SC ArborOne will be participating in the "Taste of Coker" to be held at Coker College’s soccer field in Hartsville, SC. ArborOne staff will have a booth and be cooking their specialties for event participants to sample. The Taste has become a popular community engagement program enjoyed by everyone. For good food, fun and interactive entertainment come join the festivities at the Taste of Coker on September 25th.
